40 GB PS3

I'm looking into getting a ps3 to play GTA. On Ebay they are selling a 40 GB for a decent price. My question is if the 40 GBs fill up with space too fast? I know most ps3s are 80 GB. I don't know how much space the content and stuff take up

i think you can replace the HDD can u not?

Would it take alot of games to fill up? I'm only looking into playing 3-5 games. I'm not a big console person :D:D
