well i want to know whats the best to play on ps3 or xbox ive heard ps3 is bad for the money but still fun and the xbox is good but im still not sure so tell me whats your opion in whats better
yes it should. I own both, and up until very recently I would have said xbox360 as well, but lots of good games are beginning to be released, and the ps3 in my opinion has a higher "glass ceiling" if you will. I think the ps3 is picking up momentum, especially with the price drop. Plus I prefer the ps3 for entertainment purposes. blu-ray > hddvd and you dont have to buy anything extra to use it. Both are great systems just buy one, most games are cross platform these days anyway. 360 = halo / gears of war. ps3 = metal gear solid 4 / god of war 3
#4 so the 360 is = to 2 exclusives tht have received rave reviews (although i think halo 3 was overrated) and the ps3 is equal to 2 exclusives that havent been released (msg4 will most likely be delayed from its q2 2008 and gow3 isnt even close). if i follow your logic, the ps3 is useless and the xbox360 is useful if u look at it right now. and becuz of the time value of money, u could say no one should buy a ps3 at all unless you want a bluray player, not a console.
Another huge thing to think about is what your friends have. For example, you can buy a ps3 and play online with... your 1 other friend. Or you can buy the xbox 360 and play with 10 of your friends.

Yes the PS3 will have certain games released in the future, but xbox 360 will have even more titles released in the future. If you want the PS3 then wait until those good games come out and it drops in price again in maybe 6-9 months.
Otherwise get a 360 now and you can enjoy a huge library of AAA titles and great online service.
As far as blu-ray goes that is still a big proposition at almost $400 for a player, especially since studios are split between it and hd dvd and blu-ray isn't a sure win except for the fanboys. Also it's harder to see the value there when you can get hd dvd players that accomplish the same task except with a different selection of movies for sub $200 prices.

#14 actually no, the ps3's library of games will steamroll the 360's next year. what does the 360 have coming out next year (exclusive only)? ng2, lost odyssey, gears of war2(which will most likely be out in 2009) and halo wars. the ps3 has littlebigplanet, mgs4, killzone2, haze, ff13, ffvs13, gran turismo 5, white knight story, god of war 3(possibly 2009), new twisted metal (probably 2009, and this one will actually be made by jaffe, who made tm2 and tm:black, the best two in the series)
and seriously, why do people still ask for another price drop, it is already very affordable. If you can afford a 360 then the extra $50 won't kill you.
"get whatever attracts your attention more" smartest thing drpepper said. look at the library of games for each console and decide which library is more suited for your tastes. If you're getting a ps3, I'd suggest getting it this week at a walmart to get the extra 15 free blu-ray movies (http://holiday.ri-walmart.com/?section=s.. 5 come in mail though

360 has about 10 killer titles out right now and will have just as many as the PS3 in the future, get whatever attracts your attention more.

this isn't even to mention how much the 360's GUI/software is far superior to the ps3s. can't play custom soundtracks? are you kidding me?
Halo3 will kill anything that comes out exclusively for the PS3 :) sorry, but 'HaZe' doesn't even look too thrilling or fun in my eyes >.<
