#1, just because it has a single 64-bit cpu doesnt mean that it is more powerful. It just means it can perform 64 bit tasks as apposed to 32 bit instructions.
and the cube came out like a year after the ps2 did. I personally like the cube over the ps2
lol #7 since that's a completely valid comparison! I mean, Gamecube is last generation and PS3 ISN'T EVEN OUT YET. Nice try on the side by side comparison, poser.

obviously it was a typo..how the hell would i compare a gamecube next to a ps3?! edit: ROFL didnt even read all of your comment..nice try poser? wTf?..idiot LOL
I noticed that the gamecube was better graphically-wise than the PS2 after about 3 seconds of playing both at the same time. I was at a mall where they have the consoles available for people to play and both the PS2 and Gamecube were playing Simpsons: Road Rage. PS2 has noticable "jaggies" (i.e. its not smooth) and from that I went to research the exact specifics. In short, PS2 has the least graphical power of the three xbox-GCN-ps2 console system.
pretty sure everyone knows that the gamecubes gfx are better than the ps2's... ps2 has the worst graphics of the old gen but it came out first. What a coincidence.....

Instead of editing my comment, I'll post a new one. PS2 was the weakest of the 3 consoles, and the GC just barely squeezed out the power title from XBox (not by much, the tests were specificially aimed at consoles, not general computing tasks like they are now). RE4 came out for GC before PS2, and it still looks better by comparison. Sony just had a wider range of developers who were able to get more out of the GPU for the most part. GC is still better than PS2, #10. You're a poser because you think you belong here. GTFO, idiot.

it's not that they're graphically better, if you notice, especailly on the different types of games, the GC uses a lot less detail, like in mario games, how much detail is there? not a lot, especailly for character skins. however if you compare games that are on both platforms, like ... Resident Evil 4 or what not you'll notice that they are VERy similar, however GC loads much faster because of the smaller radius of the minidiscs. GC i lubs j00
Technically, yes. GC was a better console than the PS2. Sony had a massive edge on development, though, and decisively won that generation's console war because of the sheer number of (great/good/decent/crappy) games that were put out for their system. Sony won, fair and square... but then again, the best thing doesn't always win. That's how things go.

gamecube graphics
I took this off wikipedia. I want to hear people's reactions to this and clarifying if this is true or not. Just curious.
watch out for kids who play gamecube.
