i o so miss going down the san francisco streets trying to outrun the cops and last as long as possible before we finally end up flipping over multiple times
#3 Use to play driver and still do!!!! final fantasy 7 is the best if im not lazy, but metal gear solid is the best if i just want to be a ninja for a day.
#4 oooooh, my first Playstation experience was Crash Bandicoot too, and very similar to what you just mentioned :) it was awesome.
Also, beating FF VIII for the first time. What an emotional rush, I was probably something like twelve at the time and it was one of my first games I had ever beaten.
Metal Gear Solid as a whole, especially the second disc, from the Raven fight onwards.
Oooh, gaming experiences unrivalled still by anything, first time's the best I guess.
When i first got it for christmass in 99. All my friends had one except for me. My parents teased me my making me open the memory card first and i said dad i dont have a playstation and i didnt even the hint at all.
beating MGS in 7 hours and then immediately playing it again with the cloaking device. hours upon hours of 4-player NHL 98, nfl gameday (which was WAAAAY better than madden), and playing Driver for i can't even remember how long.
Metal Gear Solid - Going down the corridor where Greyfox (Ninja) slaughtered all the guards.
Suikoden - Resurrecting Gremio before the final battle.
Final Fantasy VIII - Getting the Final "Triple Triad" Card (Squall), building up characters/weapons in the Heaven/Hell islands, and just sitting back and watching the GF animations, they were unlike anything I've ever seen before.
Resident Evil 2 - Seeing that first licker cross the window, I hesitated for about 5 minutes before going into the next room.
MGS, Playing the game and completing it was just amazing. Resident evil 1 - 3 was simply the best games I played on the PS at that time and beating them as well as was sweeeeeeeeeeeet. And finally playing throught suikoden 2 was intense. Running around outside of my mecha in Front Mission 3 was crazy sh*t ^_^
Fav PS1 Memory of all Time
Beating MGS in one day after it took my friend nearly a week.
and just playing Gran turismo 1. Looked absolutely amaing at the time.

Playing Final Fantasy VII and being shocked at how amazing it was - "OMG GAMES COULD BE LIKE THIS? WOW WTF SON"
Finally, Metal Gear Solid. Everything about it.

Too many moments to count in Final Fantasy VII
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, just roaming around the castle listening to the awesome music.
ive never played ff7 but my favorite game on the ps1 was prolly Brave Fencer Musashi
And the Marvel vs. Capcom stuff where I get every dude in like 2 days
Digimon World when my guy had to take a gigantic crap and making it JUST in time......good times
MGS
Vagrant Story(IMO, better than FF7. The best game Sqaure ever made. Too bad they didn't advertise it much, hardly anyone ever heard about it.)

Vandal Hearts, that game was badd ass
The Runes, the Mercenary Fort, the Liberation Army!
Good times, good memories.
Beating Teo with Pahn! Wondering if Viktor & Flik dies at the end =/
And of course, remodeling your bathhouse!
EDIT: And not to mention the wonderfully enchanting celtic Music Score =]
