One feature of GotFrag.com’s Madden site that has created the most buzz, and sometimes even controversy, was our Madden Challenge Top 20 list, where a panel of Madden experts deliberated to determine the top 20 players on this year’s EA Sports Madden Challenge tour. It quickly became a gauge for talent on the tour. GotFrag.com’s No. 1 competitor, Eric “Problem” Wright, ended up winning the Madden Challenge finals, thus confirming the list’s credibility.

While the final edition of the Madden Challenge Top 20 will be released Friday, GotFrag.com is proud to announce a new innovation that will bring the community closer together and even a little more organized. In January, we will debut the Madden NFL Top 50 which will rank the top 50 Madden players in the world. These rankings won’t be based on a player’s performance in the Madden Challenge alone, but will take in to account an active player’s entire career.

We will be taking steps to insure that these rankings are a consensus of the entire Madden community by allowing everyone’s voice to be heard. We will be extending private invitations to community experts, and when it is all said and done, the following individuals will be offered a say.

We are now in the process of contacting community experts. Please feel free to send us your Madden Top 50 lists (e-mail to jbussa@gotfrag.com) and they will be considered when determining the final rankings. Each top 50 list will be weighted accordingly.
