GotFrag.com reports live from the Madden Challenge finals both Wednesday and Thursday

GotFrag.com's pictures from the challenge are currently being held until clearance from EA Sports. Summaries of many of the games are also kept very brief as the tournament will be airing on ESPN in January.

Problem: The World's Greatest!

LOS ANGELES --- Eric "Problem" Wright continued his absolute dominance Thursday afternoon with his Madden Challenge championship title. This was the first appearance in the final game of his career. Wright started the year off with an XBOX 360 Madden Challenge regional title in Dallas followed up by a Playstation 2 title later on in the tour (good for $1,000). He also walked away $100,000 richer in ESPN's Madden Nation season three which aired a few months ago. His win at Thursday's challenge in Los Angeles, California crowns him the current undisputed top Madden player in the world.
Problem's victory parade begins in Hollywood

Problem's win over Chow wasn't a blow the entire game. He went in to half time with Chow knotted up at 10-10. The third quarter is where Problem distanced himself and eventually forced Chow to concede the game in the fourth quarter. Problem chucked a touchdown pass early in the third and followed it up by recovering a Chow fumble right by his endzone. He turned the fumble recovery in to a touchdown run and then piled on another before the end of the quarter. In the fourth, Problem took the 38-10 lead and Chow dropped the remote to end the tour.

Problem took home a $50,000 Best Buy gift card and $10,000 in cash. Chow also was awarded with a $25,000 Best Buy gift card and $5,000 in cash.

Jet Steele vs. Justin Chow
Jet Steele was plain and simply plagued by interceptions. He was unable to mount any sort of offensive momentum as he threw four interceptions in the mercy-rule game. Chow jumped to a 17-0 lead after a pair of pickoffs and went in to halftime up 17-7. Chow pulled away in the fourth quarter with an interception and pair of touchdowns to bring the mercy rule in to affect. GotFrag.com got up close and personal with Jet Steele after the game, stay tuned later on in the week for our talk with the final four finisher.

Billy "Da Secret" Wolf vs. Eric "Problem" Wright
This contest went back and forth in the first half. Every time one competitor struck, the other repeated the feat. Problem gained the edge before half time with a touchdown pass. He then ran down the clock in most of the second half with a tough ground game to earn the well-fought out win. Secret, who had been especially vocal throughout the tournament (featuring hilarious outbursts that will no doubt make the television show), didn't say a word throughout the contest.
