After announcing only weeks ago that gamers were not allowed to use the same team when playing each other at the Madden Challenge finals in Los Angeles on Dec. 12-14, EA has overturned the decision and is now allowing the practice.

Gamers may go head-to-head against each other using the same team. So far this year, the New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers have been the hot teams. There was no concrete explanation as to why the company went back on its decision.
