GotFrag is LIVE in Toronto to bring you the most up to date information about the Madden Challenge Canadian Finals. The winner will receive a paid trip to the world final in LA. ![]()
We’re live on site here in Toronto and the Madden Challenge is kicking off. Pre-registered players and walk-ups alike are filtering into the arena in an attempt to win a 16 player bracket to advance to the playoff portion of today’s event. With many of the top gamers in Canada representing the different regions of the great white north, competition is going to heat up as the day goes on. Already starting off the action we’ve seen the organization of a Fight Night Round 3 side tournament where the winner will walk away with a Samsung 32” HDTV. The Best Buy lounge has also been a place of interest as the early rounds of the tournament get underway. Currently well-known members of the Madden community have been fighting it out against each other and even MC Top Taylor. The traditional games of “Five in Five” have also entertained gamers waiting for their matches to start. As Top Taylor calls “Five NFL Tight Ends” the nervous participant fails to list some of the NFL’s most well known pass catchers. Unfortunate for him; no free games, no free Xbox 360, no free TV. While today’s action is already off to a great start, last night showcased one of the features that make the Canadian Madden Final the ultimate Madden Challenge tour stop. Last night Joe Badali’s hosted the regional winners for a complimentary dinner on NFL Canada’s dime. The event was a big success with 8 of the regional winners in attendance along with former NFL star Jamal Anderson of the Atlanta Falcons. Page:
