Problem wins the dough on the Madden Nation season finale
The general premise of the show is as follows: In each episode, the gamers play a mini-tournament. The team that finishes the tournament with two losses, one of its players has to play a free agent in order to stay on the bus. If they beat the free agent, they stay on the bus. If they lose to the free agent, then the free agent takes their spot on the bus. Obviously, the point is to stay on the bus as long as you can to play for the $100,000 in RESULTS Problem defeated Sirus the Virus for the $100,000 grand prize in Time Square of New York City, making him the Madden Nation Champion of season 3. Here is my take on the field of final four. PROBLEM Problem showed up on the scene in a free agent game, and right when I saw him pull up, I knew this competition was over. Problem has been making noise on the Madden scene this year with his various performances at Madden Challenges, why not add this accomplishment to the mix to prove the fact that he is the No. 1 Madden player on the circuit? Problem showed no real weaknesses during his time on the show, and the guys around him were definitely learning a lot from this master of the sticks. PANARAMIC This was another gamer that came on to the show through the free agent round in the very first episode. He was also quite a consistent performer, not to mention, the loudest mouth on the show. Nothing is worse than a loud talker that can’t back up his game, and that wasn't the case with Panaramic. He backed it up all right...all the way to the final four. J-RHOADS J-Rhoads proved a lot to me. I came in to this season writing him off as strictly an online player. Earlier in the season, I found out that I was right. He was getting his butt kicked in just about every game. However, he proved that he had some real skill when he started adapting to the game of the players around him and started holding his own. While I think J-Rhoads would have been knocked out of the competition a long time ago had he been pushed in to a free agent match, he did some pretty decent things. SIRUS THE VIRUS Hate to say it, but it’s karma. Sirus the Virus played with a style where he didn’t necessarily care if he won each Madden game, he just wanted to position himself for a shot at the $100,000. Well, he didn’t win the money and in turn, he lost a lot of credibility and didn't come across as that strong of a player. Had he dominated in each separate game, maybe he would have been viewed in better light. Win the Madden Challenge, Sirus...that will redeem it for you. |
