Scrubbing toilets, fake poop and a whole lot of Madden on this week's Madden Nation.
The general premise of the show is as follows: In each episode, the gamers play a mini-tournament. To the team that finishes the tournament with two losses, one of its players has to play a free agent in order to stay on the bus. If they beat the free agent, they stay on the bus. If they lose to the free agent, then the free agent takes their spot on the bus. Obviously, the point is to stay on the bus as long as they can to play for the $100,000 in EPISODE 3 The players clashed once again in the mini-tournament. The team of Sirus the Virus and Coach were the unlucky team to lose a pair of games, pushing Coach in to the jeopardy game against the unknown free agent. Sirus the Virus was held in blame for this, as he told the viewing public that he was throwing his game on purpose to make sure Coach was thrown in to the elimination round. Coach was well aware of this fact after seeing how poorly Sirus the Virus was playing. Coach was sent to the free agent game against Problem. Problem handled Coach quite easily 21-3 using the Chicago Bears. Coach was sent packing. EPISODE 4 Prodigy had a trade card he collected earlier in the season and traded his teammate Panaramic for Delph. Panaramic wasn't all too happy with that decision as he was then paired up with J-Rhoads in return. The trade paid off though, because J-Rhoads and Paranramic were the team tagged with two losses, sending Panaramic in the elimination round. Panaramic labbed with Problem all night to prepare for his free agent match-up. The labbing must have paid off as Panaramic cruised by the free agent Raf 13-0. Panaramic used the Kansas City Chiefs while Raf used the Indianapolis Colts. Panaramic returned to the bus. Spankeee’s take By far, Episode 3 was the most entertaining of all the previous episodes. I found myself laughing at a lot of the parts. A lot of those guys on the Madden bus have hilarious personalities, it’s not just constant smack-talking which creates an overall entertaining experience. Two thumbs up this week. Favorite gamer: Coach; Coach wins this honor for the second week in a row. I’m sorry, but he was hilarious in episode 3, especially when he had everyone doing a choreographed ‘scrub the toliet’ dance to mock Chuck Hollywood. Least favorite gamer: J-Rhoads. He was the top rated player in XBOX Live for Madden NFL 07, and it definitely shows that he’s an online-only type gamer. He hasn’t been doing very well, but did earn his first win in episode 3. Still, he doesn’t mesh well with the others and flat out isn't as good as the others are. Favorite Moment: The boys on the bus held a “Toilet Bowl Tournament” in episode 3 where the loser had to scrub the bus toilet. Chuck Hollywood was the unlucky loser in the tournament and had to scrub the porcelain. Coach smeered chocolate on it before Least favorite moment: Sirus the Virus threw a tournament game against Prodigy in episode 3 to send his own teammate, Coach, in to the free agent round. What makes this even worse is that Coach is the most likable guy on the show. Sirus said this was a strategy move that would better line him up for $100,000. Players currently on the bus: Problem, Delph, |
