SAN DIEGO RECAP:
In Sunday’s San Diego regional, Eric “Problem” Velarde proved his worth on the Madden Challenge circuit by capturing a PS2 title to go with his XBOX 360 title from Dallas. “Problem” defeated “Silent Assassin” 24-21 in the Playstation 2 division.

In the XBOX 360 division, Justin “Chow” Chow ousted Michael Degroot aka Adam Morrison. This was a rematch from last year’s final four in Los Angeles where Morrison scrounged up the victory. Chow netted 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter using a heavy ground attack with the San Diego Chargers to earn the 31-17 win.

NOTABLES:
- RJ, Tommie Hill, Big Gene and Chow didn’t make it out of Round Robin play in the Arizona regional
