Madden Challengers took to the University of Phoenix Stadium for the third stop on the tour. In the XBOX 360 division, Ronnie “Sirus the Virus” Casey reached the finals with the San Diego Chargers where he faced Antoine “Pretty Boy” Williams and the New England Patriots. This match had to be started over early on because the disc froze in the console. When the action rolled on, “Sirus the Virus” displayed clock control. The score was tied with under two minutes to go when “Sirus the Virus” calmly settled in field goal position and booted in the game winning kick. The score ended at 35-32.

In the Playstation 2 division, Eric “Problem” Velarde, the XBOX 360 winner at the Dallas regional, took on David “Pause” Anderson. “Pause” scored a touchdown to tie the game, but opted to go for two, lifting him above “Problem”.
