plus, they play in a division which is already decided who the division winner is going to be. and cleveland/pitt is already going to own 1 wild card spot, so really only 1 playoff spot is up for grabs for the jets.
Im from wisconsin and he had plently of receivers so whoever said he didnt is wrong he had david martin a great catching tight end donald driver, greg jennings, and james jones so he did have good recievers.
The guys on NFL Live all picked the Jets to win more games than the Packers this season. While I don't think Rodgers is going to be a great QB, I think they'll win more games, even without Favre.
For Madden 09 they said they'll have a download shortly after release to update Favre's trade to the Jets...he'll still have a Packers jersey on the cover, however.

New York is MUCH colder in climate than Tampa Bay, and therefore far less dissimilar to the Green Bay climate Favre has been used to playing in for the last decade and a half.
This is the only true reason Favre went to the Jets over Tampa Bay. He doesn't feel either team is a realistic contender, and so if he's gonna play and two non-contenders are the only choices he has, he opted to play for the one in which he won't have to sweat as much in his pads and helmet.
Any other reasoning is bunk. I guarantee all of you this is the primary reason Favre chose New York.
The guy only "unretired" because he's old and suddenly realized in June that he doesn't know what else to do with himself besides play football. No matter what lip-service he'll give New York media, he doesn't have any real competitive ambition for himself and the Jets -- he basically just wants to occupy himself for the next fall and winter, and he wants to do it in as much comfort as possible.
FAVRE TO JETS lulz
you act like they have receivers or something

Jets offered more?
Jets won't make playoffs and won't ever have to play Greenbay because they are in a division with the Patriots?
Use your brain.
#5, true but for Stimpz to say Jets have no WR is kind of ignorant. They have a decent running game in Thomas Jones.
