Offical Release Date

Kind of late for a post, but better late then never!

Mark your calendars people Maddenoliday 2008 is August 12th!

March 27, 2008 - Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) announced today that Madden NFL 09 will be available in retail stores in North America on August 12, including a special collector's edition in celebration of the 20th anniversary of one of the best-selling video game franchises of all time. The Madden NFL 09 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition will be the ultimate interactive NFL experience - featuring full versions of both Madden NFL 09 and the all-new NFL Head Coach 09, exclusive classic Madden NFL gameplay, and an extensive library of exclusive bonus video content.

GUESSTIMATED PRICES Based on Madden Anniversary Edition of Madden 07:

Madden 09 - 20th Ani Edition: $79.99
Madden 09 - Regular Edition: $59.99

I would imagine (possibly) madden nation would be on the ani edition dvd, like it was for the john madden edition of 07 :)!

It's on the calendar. I'm hoping that a lot of the rumored upgrades will be included so we get a great release

I think we're definitely set for a Madden Release Party. This time I'll have to come with so you don't get stonewalled trying to get into the really exclusive portion of the event.
