It's interesting how the Jets can go from surprise team of the year to crashing back to reality a year later. I can see them being improved in 2008, but I don't look at them as a lock for the playoffs. 7-9 or8-8 sounds about right to me.

Faneca was a very solid signing.. but the Calvin Pace deal was absurd. Signing Damien Woody for $5 million a year to play right tackle? Seriously?
What's with the contracts this offseason? Inconsistent Bernard Berrian for all that? Really? Why on EARTH did Tommy Kelly get Richard Seymour type of money?

Imo, nothing can be worse than that 4-12 season. So i'd say for good, atleast i hope.
i know vilma's getting traded out, but i hope we can get something nice in return.

This offseason however has been pretty crazy and the Jets apparently believe that age is only a number.
