The Freak is back in a Titans uniform after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Can you imagine how deadly the Titans defensive line will be next season and in Madden 09 with Jevon Kearse and Albert Haynesworth? Hopefully Kearse can return to his old form from his past days with Tennessee.

The guy was dominant in Madden NFL 05 for his first season with Philly. I think if you did a full draft in that version he was typically the No. 1 player taken overall.

Definitely using the Titans

The Eagles are very good at identifying players that can play, and those that cannot despite their locker room presence. Hugh Douglas, and Corey Simon come to mind in this regard. At his advanced age (in relative football years), coupled with his considerable physical erosion (evidenced by his less than spectacular production and inability to stay healthy), would you like to bet against them?

If we're talking about Madden however, they (EA Staff) have a gross tendency to overrate players despite what a scouting report says. So it's not a stretch that EA would overrate one of the most overrated players of the last decade. In that sense, Vanden Bosch/Haynesworth/Kearse is pretty stacked.

I'm going to agree with you on this level:
EA will overrate a player if his trade has been hyped up a lot. So players like Alge Crumpler and Kearse will get a few brownie points for Madden 09.

If they perform subpar they will be nurfed.

#2 Agreed. The Titans are looking better and better... but it all goes back to Vince Young, and whether or not he can start living up to his hype. Being successful in the AFC South -- the toughest division in all of the NFL -- will demand no less.

I specifically edited my comment to say Titans D-Line, not game in general. There is no way that one player in the game could effect the game as a whole, unless we're talking Tom Brady or Moss switching teams, then you effect a team / it's opposition.

There's no reason for you to get heated bro, just having a calm and collected discussion here.
