"The Pittsburgh Steelers and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger have agreed to a new eight-year, $102 million contract.
The contract, which includes more than $36 million in guarantees and is easily the largest in team history, places Big Ben among the game's highest-paid players."
Good job locking him up for so long. This is going to drive up Garrard's contract this offseason though.
Definitely good for the Steelers as Ben is the type of QB that can win a game if he has to, but will rarely lose a game. He had a few points where he tried to force the ball this season, but overall he's a very smart QB and is still very young.

Faneca is the second best guard in the league. you underestimate what an amazing player at that position can do. He still has a good 3-5 years left in him. I said need to fix, I didn't say it was going to be fixed; but hopefully they try to work something out
Hutchinson and Faneca are worth every penny they make. Faneca is an absolute workhorse. He had a great final season with the Steelers. Don't listen to everything the idiot "sports experts" say.

Faneca isn't worth his huge salary. Don't think the O-Line is going to be fixed over a single offseason...but one can hope.
