The kid is obviously amazing, I won't take away from that, but a lot of times, when kids are REALLY good at a young age, they don't continue progressing at a high rate and others around them catch up. But end result: he's in 5th grade and he could kill me with his bare hands.
this kid will be average in college, but more importantly if he doesnt screw up he'll still be playing in college, unlike 100% of everyone on the field
havent any u guys played football back in the day? every league has kids like this
im not taking away from him haha hes definitely got talent, but like i said, from my own experience palying football for 3 years in Vince Lombardi (middle school age) and watching my lil cousin at a few games for the same team i was on... there are thousands of cody pauls living in the end zone all over america
well.... hes in 5th grade he didn't have to take hit he just out ran everyone. Not trying to take anything away from him but kids mature, they get faster and he won't be able to out athelete everyone for the rest of his life. Well at least him and reggie bush have that in common.
The kid is really good, but I know from playing baseball and golf at that age that people are dominant when they're young, but everyone else catches up. I know because I was that kid.
Baseball 5th grade: 17 consecutive strikeouts as a pitcher, .93 ERA. .820 batting average 9th grade: didn't make the team
Golf: 5th grade: 40.7 scoring average 9th grade: 42.8 scoring average
While I improved in golf and became a state finalist before leaving high school, my baseball skills never really improved beyond 5th/6th grade.
Not to say this kid won't maintain being fast, elusive and awesome, but I'm a living example of someone who was good in 5th grade and plateued - allowing everyone else to catch up and eventually pass me.

I was fast as hell when I was younger playing baseball, but like some others said, as I got older the skill gap I had over people my age in regards to speed closed up on me and I was never considered super fast by the time I hit high school.
