I have Alge Crumpler vs New Orleans or Vernon Davis vs Minnesota. Neither one has been nearly as good as projected this season and I'm going up against the #1 team in the league (who has Tom Brady), so I need every point I can get.

I'd go with Crumpler. Although the Falcons and 49ers are both in terrible shape with quarterbacks, going with Joey Harrington being able to get the ball to Crumpler is probably a safer bet.

i see crumpler as an actual pass threat vs. a terrible NO pass defense
i see davis as a hot receiver/dumpoff over the blitz on short passes/screens because the vikings d-line is going to dominate the trenches vs. the 49ers

Well based on the consensus here I think I'll go with Crumpler. I agree with #5 in part, but I'm concerned that if Gore gets shut down the 49ers could get shut out, while I think Joey will probably find Crumpler at least a few times. Thanks for the input guys

#9 of course not. And as soon as you left the league I scooped him up for a late draft pick and thought I made a steal. Little did I know he was going to be horrible.
Had I started Davis I would have only gotten 4 points (about his average). Hopefully Crumpler comes through big for me tonight. I don't think it's going to matter though, I played against Tom Brady, Joseph Addai, Colts defense and Greg Jennings. Even with Peyton blowing up for me Gore & McGahee both struggled in a big way

bill, he should have a decent night, the saints arent that good at covering TE's and their LB's are way overrated. I would bet he has a decent night, tho not enough to save you from the tom brady beat down lol
