I wish the refs didn't throw the colts game. I'm not even kidding, and I never even say that kind of stuff. Someone is getting fined this week on that crew. What sucks is it doesn't matter if the league comes out and reprimands anyone, because that doesn't change the outcome of the game.
amazing monday night game, havnt seen the ravens i love til now.
i think the roosevelt colvin injury showed up a lot more than people were expecting. he is a big loss especially going to miss him during the playoffs where he has come up big in the past. he was one of the youngest LB's they had too.

Amazing Monday Night game, too bad the Ravens got screwed, if not by the refs than by their own coaches and stupidity. Between the timeout, the soft penalties and lack of offense in the last 12 minutes, the Ravens really let that game slip away.

What's worse about that Ravens game, is that Tom Brady's final touchdown on that coulda-woulda-shoulda-been game for Baltimore got me knocked out of playoff contention in one of my fantasy leagues D: Panther D dropped 25 points on me, and that last Brady TD made me lose by 3 D:
... I actually lost a game earlier in the year too in a weird way. Brett Favre's 80+ yard overtime TD caused me to lose the only game I lost all season in one league :\ The guy needed 77 yards and a TD to beat me by one, and that's exactly what happened. Had he thrown a 76 yard TD to Jennings, it wouldn't have been enough.
no one screwed the ravens but themselves, i dont care what is going on in the game there is no reason for a select few of those ravens to have lost their cool. the ravens are one of my favorite teams because of their style of play and because the defense can get so fired up like they did; but champions prove themselves in the final minutes of the game: one team was throwing penalty flags into the endzone while the other team threw a touchdown into the endzone.
and im going to try to catch the nfl network analysis with the VP of NFL officiating to see if hopefully whatever ref was talking trash gets fired/fined. supposedly one of the refs was calling someone names

The NFL is reviewing "all the [Ravens'] comments regarding the officiating," including Samari Rolle's claim that an official repeatedly called him "boy." After the Ravens' 27-24, last-minute loss to the New England Patriots, Rolle said head linesman Phil McKinnely used disrespectful language late in the game when the Ravens were arguing a penalty. "The refs called me a boy. No. 110 [McKinnely] called me a boy," Rolle said in the locker room Monday night. "I will be calling my agent in the morning and sending my complaint. I have a wife and three kids. Don't call me a boy. Don't call me a boy on the field during a game because I said, 'You've never played football before.'" McKinnely, 53, who is black, was an offensive tackle for three NFL teams (the Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears) in a seven-year career during the 1970s and 1980s. He has been an NFL official since 2002.
"who is black" i love reporters providing me with such important information

#18, I guess it's probably to eliminate people blaming it on discrimination of any kind.
If the official was calling him 'boy' I can think of much worse things for someone to be called. Also, the official is 53, so Samari Rolle is probably about the age of his kids. I don't know, sounds like trying to find an excuse for nothing.

name calling because of something out of someones control (age in this instance) is the text-book definition of discrimination, the ref should not be saying anything to the player as when/if the player retaliates he will be penalized/fined.
the fact that race was brought up at all just doesnt make any sense to me and i cant see it any other way than the writer is a racist that was looking to blow the story out of proportion or create a headline where there was none.
while i dont find it offensive calling someone a boy, it IS discrimination
you see what i am saying? race was not an issue or even anywhere close to an issue and yet some biased reporter throws it into his article for no reason at all. this is why hate crime/discrimination laws are just as racist/discriminatory as the offenses themselves. not a big issue, not trying to create any kind of debate, just finding yet another example to make an observation on the sad state of the media we get our information from
i dont know i think samari has a valid argument, true, refs are human but because of their position of authority they need to hold themselves to much higher standards. this is like a police officer provoking someone and then getting away with it, i hope the ref gets punished some how as we definately need to discourage any kind of instance of a ref affecting the game at all
