If it's Peterson on the cover there is no way he is going to break the curse. The guy had two injuries in college and does not avoid tackles as well as he should.

I'm sure their first offer will go to AP. So, he'll be on the cover unless he declines the offer (LT was the primary choice for 08, but he declined the offer for the Madden cover, at least that's what I heard).
Other options I could see would be Randy Moss, Tom Brady, Derek Anderson, Tony Romo, Willie Parker, Joseph Addai, or even Brett Favre.

#18 it wasn't really his ratings people looked at, i think what won him ROY was his 21 points in 10 minutes agains the giants at the end of the season, he showed that he looked like he could pick it up in the clutch and lead his team, but now he's shown it was just his team getting hot. even with their defense playing EXTREMELY dominate this season, they still struggle so much because of his mistakes, ie picks , bad throws , limited 1st downs, exc. :D i have a lot to say about football
