The number one map for public server play has finally made it's way into competition in the form of a CE modded map. The designation CE stands for Competition Edition and where the spawns and map dynamics have been tweaked to allow for greater variation in strategy, and require the higher level of teamwork that match play demands.

Original Bridge is a linear map much like it's name hints, where a team must tactically smoke, push, blitz past a defensive team lying in wait to escape to an objective tunnel on the opposite side of the map. The changes to the Completion Edition are to move up the assault spawns, create two equal areas of escape for assault, and a second plank to sneak around the south side of the tower. This version is BETA 1 (rc1) and will continue to be tweaked until the community is satisfied, so enjoy!

Ok guys I know this map is still in BETA stage which is why I am going to post a few bugs here. First I would like to thank Madd, iZi, and all of the AA-Maps.net mapping team for taking the time to edit the map for us. Onto the bugs...

1. http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/1512/obj.. In the following picture it clearly shows that the objective cant be taken at certain parts of the truck. I understand that iZi is lazy and probably copied the objective from its original location and duplicated it but the new location for this objective made copying it bad. Originally the truck was facing inward towards the inside of the tunnel so only the back 3/4 of the truck needed an objective volume because you wouldnt be able to touch the front 1/4. So now when you try to take the objective by running into the front portion of the truck it doesnt work. I dont know if this was done intentionally so if it was just please tell me.

2. http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/6765/f.. In this picture you can fall through the gap that is filled with purple. Again I dont know if this was done intentionally to make going around the planks risky but if it was not intentional then a blocking volume needs to be added here.

3. http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/5383/p.. In this picture you can clearly see that the blocking volume is way too high. Again i dont know if this was done on purpose but this one definitely needs to be fixed because it makes people look like they are floating and new people to the game wont understand that there is a blocking volume or what a blocking volume is. Also the ladder near the blocking volume needs to be stretched down/lowered so you dont need to jump to get on it.

All in all i like the idea going around the stairs but the planks are kind of cheesy and something else needs to be put there or make it more detailed or something.

Edit 1: Also where you deleted the old objectives you need to add like a fence or something so you cant get in the tunnel because it looks dumb just walking into an invisible wall.
