1.6 or Source, it's all Counter-Strike. If you're a true fan, your appreciation transcends something as petty as a mere difference of graphics engine.
#18 1.6 or Source are both counter-strike? negative. Source is just a secondhand game using the same name to get people to buy it, and there are tons of kids who fall for this.
Source is only popular because of the "CS" label they added to that eye-pleasent-no-skill game.
I have played CS from 1.3 and have respect for all platforms of the game, all take skill, and all have taken a lot of effort to develop and keep us consumers happy. So please have some respect for peoples opinions. Its a CS:S movie, deal with it. If you dont like CS:S, Keep to posting comments on 1.6 Movies.
Top Teams what? USA? okay, Europe? Asia? NO.
coL and 3D are your "Top Teams"? yeah, they couldn't achive much on 1.6 and they needed money.. so what better place to get much higher paychecks while denying eveything they said about competive play and such?
Of course I remember moto's little quote about CS:S --> " I think it looks great but drives like crap " I don't blame him though, he's the coach.
It's just about money and everyone knows it, and to be honest I would do the same if I were them.
clarify that before you use it then.
And it is for money, and no it's not growing popular, even if it is.. just compare the comunity and "Pros" who actualy play those games, It's obvious that 1.6 > Source. If you look at how many great players and teams around the world are playing 1.6.. just look at every european Team ( not everyone of them ) recruiting foreignys to play for them (NoA 2-3 years ago was the prime example) . I don't see that happening anytime soon on CS:S scene cause obviously it is not worth the effort.. Zet however is another story.
I know. " give it time, let it grow and you'll see " , That I'll do.
Then i'll say no more. You just argued my case. Enough of this CS Banter anyways, i'm sure it has been duscussed exactly the same in a million other places. You think what you like and so will i. The End. Still haven't finished d/l'ing the movie :/
