In a shocking turn of events Carbon was defeated by FBI The Agency in a route 3 - 0. The loss places Carbon in 4th place in the MLG Chicago Pro Bracket for the first time this season. This is Carbon's worst standing this year compared to their previous 1st place win during Dallas over Final Boss. Final Boss's David "Walshy" Walsh was reached for comment.

"Carbon wasn't on top of their game," Walsh said. The team entered the match after they seemingly dominated the previous teams but fell behind early to FBI The Agency 1-0 and fell apart as the games went on. When asked about Carbon's past performances Walsh commented that this time they could not "bounce back". Many were shocked as the crowd cheering Carbon on went silent seeing the considered top team fall to the current third seed.

At this point in the season Carbon will have to regroup as they head towards Orlando. Though whether that will include roster changes or new strategies is uncertain but something will be different once MLG reaches that stop.
