MLG stop may not have had the largest turnout for the open bracket competition, but it seems to have had some of the best so far. The championship is wrapping up as we see underdogs The NSAN3Z coming out on top of second ranked team Visionz to make it all the way into the finals of the National Championship.

The NSAN3Z have pulled an upset win over Visionz, after falling in two maps to Visionz it looked as though the NSAN3Z were going to be put out of the tournament. After an amazing comeback, the NSAN3Z took a close game 4-3. The next map had the NSAN3Z dominating Mansion in a 4-0 sweep and bringing the map score to 2-2. Randy Fritsche, manager of The NSAN3Z and father of ZK1LLER, was on the edge of his seat as they took out Visionz 4-1 on the final map. The team jumped up with a fist up in victory as Randy was proud of his team. He exclaimed "These guys worked so much harder than people think, they really deserve this after what they've put into this."

Heading into the finals, the NSAN3Z wanted the win more than anything. Continuing the prior 3-1 series with InFiNiTy in the lead. Although holding off InFiNiTy and putting up an amazing fight, the NSAN3Z were no match for the determination of InFiNiTy and the skill they possess at this point. Perhaps next season will spell an end to InFiNiTy's domination, however we will not know yet as they are now at the top of the GoW world with multiple wins in a number of different major tournaments including numerous MLG Pro Circuit wins and the WCG grand finals.

MoB Unknowns vs. InFiNiTy

A very close game for sure with an odd outcome. With the map series tied 2-2, it came down to a 3-3 tie in rounds. Last round of the match-up MoB Unknowns had a 2v1 advantage over InFiNiTy. Both MoB members downing the last member of first seeded InFiNiTy, they stood up and celebrated overcoming such a great team. Without paying attention, they gave the InFiNiTy member enough time to mash the A button and revive himself and in turn kill the two celebrating MoB members. Truly embarassing, however very close in that great match-up.

In an amazing upset, The NSAN3Z have overcome the odds against them and defeated second ranked team Visionz to make it through the upper bracket to the finals. After falling to WCG Champions InFiNiTy, they will be facing the winner of the lower bracket round 3.

The lonely boys from Missouri came into this MLG season looking to have a great time and get some experience, and they ended up pulling out of Las Vegas with a check for $15,000 and a second placing. After spending some time around them and the manager, you really get to respect these guys and see that all they want is to play the game they love and do the best they can. Humble, quiet, and highly skilled; this team WILL give InFiNiTy a very hard time next MLG season as they definitely have what it takes to win all the glory with a little bit more practice.
