Lets take a look at some of the bigger matches in the top rungs that should be turning heads on GameBattles (expected match times follow the match-up):

XxTheDeathPunishersxX vs. BrItIsH FaTaLiTy

After a delay through the night, team XxTheDeathPunishersxX has taken a forfeit win against BrItIsH FaTaLiTy due to a no-show. Perhaps the game will be rescheduled, but as of now it will count as a win for XxTheDeathPunishersxX.



Total Chaos v1 vs. SeMi PrO

The match seemed to have been a decent match-up between these two evenly ranked teams. It eventually turned into a crushing sweep for Total Chaos v1, which is now short lived with a dispute from SeMi PrO. As many have experienced in CAL, any of these matches can be disputed and it will not count until an admin clears the dispute. The tougher part of this is actually PROVING that someone hacked, glitched, etc. when there is no legitimate recorded/photographed proof.



Total Chaos v1 vs. oICONo

Although a straight sweep by oICONo, this match was a close fight between one of better 200+ ranked teams and the 24th ranked team on GameBattles. It seems at the end the veteran team was able to take control of the match with their experience online to take the matches even without having host. oICONo looks like a team determined to make it to the top and should be looked at carefully until playoffs.



Post Game Reactions: I believe that there is still some room for the league to improve on the punishment of not showing up for a match. With a no-show for no legitimate reason should be a full week of inactivity for the team, not allowing them to play any matches to boost their rank at all. There are plenty of good matches however, and we will continue to highlight those every week.
