As part of a series of tournaments held by GameSpot.com, they have begun registration for their second Capital Punishment tournament in Gears of War. In order to register, you must have a paid subscription to the GameSpot website.

With registration ending at 12:00pm PT on Tuesday September 4, there will still be a chance for teams to get together and enter this 3v3 tournament.

Below is an excerpt taken from the site:

"Competing in Execution mode, 32 three-player teams will go head-to-head. Only two squads will make it to the Finals! These two forces will be pitted against each other in the Finals. Who will survive the onslaught of bullets and chainsaws and go home with a cut of the $1,000 package?

Don't have the game? You won't need it to witness the firepower. You can watch the explosive warfare and tactical strategy by tuning into the Finals, which will broadcast LIVE on GameSpot Tournament TV."

As of now there is no list of confirmed teams attending, but after viewing the previous Capital Punishment tournament we have seen teams such as vBi and vVv play.
