The Nintendo DS has been a hot commodity around the globe; whether you're in Japan, the U.S., Europe, or Australia, the DS is selling at incredible speeds. Well, over in Europe the DS has reached a milestone: it has sold a whopping 14 million handhelds. I have no clue as to why they chose to celebrate this random number, but hey, if it works for them, why not? Come October, they're also getting a new Silver color to mix things up a bit.



To date the DS has sold over 45 million units worldwide.
